What Is CC And BCC?

When sending email, you have the option of including a copy of the message to more than one recipient. If it doesn't matter if the recipient knows the other addresses that received the message, you would use CC (carbon copy). When the message arrives, it will show a list of all the addresses that received a copy. This could be handy if you're in a group working on a project, and need to notify everyone of a change, and let the others know who has been notified.

BCC, or 'blind' carbon copy, does essentially the same thing (multiple recipients) but hides the additional recipient list from view.
